Thank you to the anonymous buyer who purchased the large mounted print of my image, Choice.

This is one of my favorite images and one that I considered my first work of art. I am SO excited that it will be in your home! I created this right after being laid off from my job – sitting on the couch and realizing I could make the choice to change my whole life. Your purchase of this particular items feels like a sign to me, for which I am so grateful.

Thank you for your purchase and support of independent artists.
It is so appreciated.

I just love the serendipitous moments in life.

I’ve just rented a winter rental (almost) on the beach.
It’s Very quiet – and most of the town and surrounding areas are shut down until tourist season begins. I thought it would be the perfect place to write, delve deeper into learning this art of photography…and to continue to look for a job and home.

As I sat here last night – without internet, or a friend…and the quiet became deafening rather than inpsiring, I wondered if I’d made the right decision to live in such an isolated little spot.

When I was finally able to get online this morning – and immediately had the message “your image has been featured on the home page” pop up into my news feed – I felt like it was a sign…

WaHoo!!!!

I’m so excited to start off the New Year on the Home Page!!

I’m truly honored and inspired to be featured with such wonderful artists.

Thank you for including “the depth of my longing”…

…this was the perfect ending to a lovely day.

travel update

I’m not sure who, if anyone will read this as I’ve been pretty neglectful of my life on the bubble lately. My comments and thank yous for comments have been very slow – and for that I do apologize.

Since being laid off from my job I’ve spent most of my time trying to keep life together and figuring out what to do next….which is why I’m posting this journal entry.

I’ve made a decision to be creative in my job search. I’ve spent a bit of time in the local unemployment office taking classes and talking to other unemployed folks and have been surprised by how long so many talented, educated people have been out of work. Some people I interacted with have been searching for two years! So -

I made a decision to turn this time into an opportunity …

Home Page Feature!
