Thinking about the current popularity of the “hoodie” got me thinking about the history of hoods in fashion….
Thanks to Gregoryno6 for help in sourcing the Grim Reaper image, which is by 19thC artist, Colin de Plancy…i’ve fiddled with it a bit… : )

yeah i was watching some hoodie-wearing twit get off a tram and the parallel suddenly occured to me! they are handy though…5 minutes after that mine protected my top half while my jeans got completely soaked in a heavy rain shower….

cut the sleeves short…thats what i do…cause i have so many of em…this helps when your hoodie zips other wise…im not sure, havent tried on ones that dont!!!
of course polar fleece in the summer…i dunno how well that would go over!!! hrmmmm… get one of these !!!
