yep.HAHA! that’s exactly why I don’t have one.f* that.I’m anti-social :-)..though somebody did point out to me that it’s a good way to promote your art..

  • Tania Donald replied

yeah someome told me the same thing about myspace. neither is true. let me put is this way, as a forum for promoting your art myspace is a great place to be inundated by messages from sleazy freaks. i have actual friends on my facebook page, but i’ve noticed some very odd things on other people’s pages, people who despised each other in high school now happily adding each other as friends. doesn’t anyone know how to bear a grudge anymore? ; )

LOL!burn those bridges I say!!I had a shit time in high school. Why should I give a shit about what people who I never liked and who never liked me are doing with their lives now?Not that I bear a grudge I just really don’t care..Thanks for the heads up.Def. no facebook for me.I have a myspace but I never use it. :-D

Oh jesus christ TELL me about it!
I didn’t think any of them existed on the internet…then i joined Facebook and THERE THEY ALL WERE!! “FRIENDING” me. I DON’T EVEN LIKE THESE PEOPLE (then…OR now!!) why are they friending me?! You think you’re OUT and they just drag you RIGHT BACK IN!

  • Tania Donald replied

ignore or deny!!!! now you have the power, use it! the same dumbasses whose sole aim in highschool was popularity are just trying to use you to enlarge their friend list and appear popular now. losers. i pride myself on having a very selective friend list on facebook and myspace.it’s quality, not quantity that counts with me. ; )

This is soooo funny. Same thing with work colleagues who add you as friends although you’ve barely crossed words.

  • Tania Donald replied

i’m thinking of doing a myspace one too. “Myspace: a world of sleazey strangers at your fingertips.” ; D

Thanks Miss Tania and assorted commenters. You’ve reassured me in my belief that facebook is something to avoid – like axe murderers, or little old ladies with copies of the Watchtower.

  • Tania Donald replied

facebook is alright…just be selective about who you add…ditto myspace, which is worse, so sleazey. yeuk! ; )

Yes, it is a great concern these days, in terms of the changing spectrum of social interaction led by the internet, especially with the young; some youngsters may be spending so much time on Facebook that they are in danger of neglecting their Myspace page…

  • Tania Donald replied

god, tell me about it, girlfriend! Between FB, MS and RB I am run ragged! too bad no-one can stand me in real life…i had an idea of rewriting Pride and Prejudice for the modern age….Jane bennet is humiliated when Mr Darcy takes her avatar off his “top friends” list….
thanks for stopping by LTEA! : P
