Not a selective colour pic, this is just how it looked when I stepped out the back door one overcast morning, very early.
There were five or six of them floating over.
We are in their flight path, and I often see them passing by, but not usually so many.

how gauche of me! i should have realised that this season’s trend in balloon festivals, is minimalism – at most you might see a basket…no-one’s doing whole balloons anymore – that’s so 2004.
