Bee 1
Apologies to anyone who has been notified about this image twice tonight, but given the recent problems with new works being added to watchlists, I wasn’t sure whether everyone knew about my photography
!http://images- page, and I was so excited about the bee photographs I took today, I just wanted to share them with everybody!
There was a bee party in the blossom tree today and a couple of them posed for a few pictures for me.

MuscularTeeth
aww thats a great shot – he be hovering. i can see his bees knees! didja get stung?
nice work.
Tania Donald replied
nah, a couple of them buzzed me, and many were shy and hid from the camera (there were hundreds of the little buzzers!) but luckily no stings – or bites ; P
last time i got stung, it was on the neck – that weren’t a load of fun…still i don’t bear a grudge. : D
Gregoryno6
Does this mean you’ve become a beeparazzi?
Tania Donald replied
yes. i’m stalking them. but they love it – and they should expect it, making an exhibition of themselves in public like that.
Gregoryno6
In other words, they cad it humming.
Tania Donald replied
heee heee – yeah they always try to generate a buzz about themselves. ; D
Kathryn Potempski
this is a splendid shot, amazing little fellow coming in for a landing
Tania Donald replied
thanks kathryn! aren’t they fascinating creatures? my former step-father had been an apiarist and he was full of stories about their complex behaviour. : D
MuscularTeeth
iv got a few friends allergic to bees, and so in summer and spring they carry adrenaline shots..
Tania Donald replied
when i was little i had bad allergic reactions to bee stings – hence my concern about being stung in the neck. however i no longer seem to be allergic, as i didn’t asphyxiate, which is a boon ; )
MuscularTeeth
yes it is a boon.
and perhaps a feather in your cap too.
Tania Donald replied
let’s say it’s a fascinator on my bonnet.
i haven’t got your bavarian cap, if that’s what you are implying ; P
hee hee : D
Gregoryno6
my former step-father
Did you trade him in for a newer model? And would that make his replacement your step-stepfather?
Tania Donald replied
it’s all rather complicated, and, to be honest, i kind of lost interest in it (having a “step-father”)...obvioulsy these things are important to my mother, but, you know how it is…ah i’m just feeling a bit jaded today…. : )
