nah, a couple of them buzzed me, and many were shy and hid from the camera (there were hundreds of the little buzzers!) but luckily no stings – or bites ; P
last time i got stung, it was on the neck – that weren’t a load of fun…still i don’t bear a grudge. : D

yes. i’m stalking them. but they love it – and they should expect it, making an exhibition of themselves in public like that.

heee heee – yeah they always try to generate a buzz about themselves. ; D

thanks kathryn! aren’t they fascinating creatures? my former step-father had been an apiarist and he was full of stories about their complex behaviour. : D

when i was little i had bad allergic reactions to bee stings – hence my concern about being stung in the neck. however i no longer seem to be allergic, as i didn’t asphyxiate, which is a boon ; )

let’s say it’s a fascinator on my bonnet.
i haven’t got your bavarian cap, if that’s what you are implying ; P

it’s all rather complicated, and, to be honest, i kind of lost interest in it (having a “step-father”)...obvioulsy these things are important to my mother, but, you know how it is…ah i’m just feeling a bit jaded today…. : )

it’s the new camera dahlink, it’s fab, great macro setting, and the rest was just luck! i trashed about 10 crap ones and ended up with 3 goodies.
