Isn’t Al just awesome…? truly inspiring to me…in my new painting i’m trying to use some of the things i’ve learnt from how he developed this one… : D

a collaborative art project is something completely new for me- but i’m sold if this is any indication and what collaboration can be!you can learn so much from other people’s ideas…x :D

hmm, is that Liv Tyler? actually i based the original drawing on a photo of the divine peggy moffitt (muse of 60s fashion icon Rudi Gernreich, and legendary model for the topless swimsuit)....but i don’t think it really looks like her…a bit of my own head snuck in there too – this is a common problem for artists. a friend of mine has a brother who paints, and all his faces look like his own. the problem is he only paints female nudes…..
you can probably see that Al has changed the face by doing a kind of mirror image effect on it…maybe he was thinking about Liv….
