SELF PORTRAIT AT 20 by Tammera
Clear

Currently unavailable for purchase

The original is a quick sketch I did at 20.
I was feeling a bit out of sync with space and time…

I had moved from Nevada to San francisco to go to college …

In Nevada I was basically a small town girl and with that small town mentality…

I soon found out how different city life can be.

On this particular day in San Francisco I was eating my lunch and sketching, as I always did, the people around me,,,,

When suddenly felt very overwhelmed by all the business people in suits and with their business cases, and felt very small and insignifigant and affraid that I would never “fit in” with all these business types.

I felt as if I were a little girl all alone and lost in the city . Hence the little girl holding the balloons…

I updated this and added some color in photoshop to make it more with a finished and modern touch…:)
