This series of work…
Messenger, Messenger 2, and Messenger 3
Were inspired by my recent near death experience.
I have had 2 spine surgeries in the past 4 months . (due to immune system dysfuntion) and 4 weeks ago I was being treated in the hospital and had an overdose reaction to the strong medicine they were giving me to stay out of shock from the pain (before the operation).
I went into respiratory failure and none of the hospital personal noticed. My daughter came to visit me and when she came in the room, I was not breathing. It took them awhile to bring me back from the brink…but I truly believe that my daughter was directed by spirit guides or angels or whtever you may choose to call them…
It was not yet my time to go.
I have had 3 near deaths by drowning. and one near death by heart arythmia. 2 more near deaths by suicide attempt and now this most recent one in which my daughter saved my life by a visit…
In total that makes 7 near death experiences I have had in my life. This is not chance. It is by direction.
I have been giving this quite a bit of meditation and thought over the past few weeks and so I found these angels on the public domain site and decided to pay homage to the powers that be and are directing my life.

I am permanently disabled and work at home. Previously, I have been employed as Art Director at California Manufacturers Association and Production Artist at SMW Communications of Sacramento CA.
I studied art at The Academy of Art in San Francisco 1977-79

Oils. Acrylics. Watercolors. Pastels. Inks. Charcoals. Graphites.
Currently I am focused and self taught in Digital Art.

(Not as many)
But if you’d have seen the wreckage I was pulled from on 2 occassion you still say how?
We are here for a purpose
