Through the looking-glass
They came and went
Not a moment did she think
Time could be bent

She thought and she thought
And wondered some more
At all of the wonderments
That lay neath that floor

Infinity’s realm
Gave her desire
To reach out and grasp
And take herself higher

So she tip-toed around
The looking-glass mirror
And summoned intent
To take her nearer

Nearer to whom
She was meant to be
Nearer to truth
In her own reality

As she fell through
The looking-glass floor
Her soul flew past
Many a door

She halted when suddenly
She blasted upon
The one meant for her
With no question of wrong

Thus sealed her fate
At least this go-round
For this is passage
To her higher ground…
