A Victory For All First Responders of 911!

Below is a link to one of my pieces expressing desire for change regarding this issue!

Below is an email I received today regarding this issue!
In 2015, more than 130 million people took to to create the change they want to see in the world:.

In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Jon Feal was among the first to help the fallen at Ground Zero. After witnessing many of his fellow first responders develop 9/11 related illnesses, he started a petition calling on Congress to pass a law that would permanently cover the health expenses of 9/11 first responders. After more than 180,000 people signed his petiti

My Immune System

I want to apologize for my very slow ability to respond to comments. Both now and in the future. I am and have been really struggling with serious immune system issues for awhile now.…

I am never sure how long I will be ill or how extreme a case of relapse will be. But be assured, I do read and am immensely uplifted by all the support here! It is a very exciting point of my day if I am able to sit up in bed and do some work to share and/or read comments from all of you!

I am going to put both groups that I have been moderating up for New Moderator/s who may be able to keep up in a more timely fashion. When I don’t get to the groups I feel an undue amount of guilt responsibility and stress.

As a Rule of thumb…anytime stress becomes my enemy, I must let go of what it is that is the offender.

Apologies For Not Responding

I wish to say Thank you ever so kindly to each and everyone of you for you comments and kind encouragements on my work!…

I have fallen into a bad relapse with my Neuro/Immune system and am currently struggling to get out of bed, get some nourishment and try to get to the computer. Most days I don’t make it. But, on the days that I do, I only have energy to do a bit of art work and do not answer comments or do any group moderation.

I am so sorry to my fellow group members that the groups are moving so slowly. I will return to them as I am able. Please bear with me during this difficult time.

And to all…please know that even though I am not responding to you, your words and comments are so deeply appreciated. They help me to push on to get to the computer as often as I can. sometimes it is a

Been Away ~ Mom Died

by Tammera

At first I did not know what to name this work. The fact that I am still pondering all the symbolism in it will not change its original tittle.

I was working on this artwork in the exact hours of my mother’s passing from this life….I was aware she would die soon but did not know I was creating in in her moments of leaving.

This work holds very special meaning to me. There are many things in it that are magical. I will not go into all of them, but will tell one so that the viewer may have an idea just how magical this piece truly is…

As I have said I struggled with this piece in the very hours my mom was passing from this life. As I argued with myself weather or not to leave the dragonflies or change them to butterflies….to leave them kept its urgency in my heart.

Hello to all redbubble friends and group members:…

I have finally returned home after over a month stay with my sister, who lost her husband of 23 years.

I was needed to help in her time of grief and I greatly appreciate your kind patience.

I need to catch up on all my responses to comments and also I intend to try to do some catching up in features and such before I re-open the groups for submission…so I greatly appreciate your kind patience in waiting just a bit longer for the groups to open.

Thank you to all who have so kindly sent me messages of condolence, they have been comforting and greatly appreciated in this difficult time.

New RB Look

Although I am going to have to go through another learning curve….
I am so grateful to RB for acknowledging my request a long long time ago when I asked if we could have a sans serif typeface back, as the old courier with serifs made me strain my eyes too hard when adding comments!!

Along with that, and my TV now being closer to my bed (from where I work)…..
I am now able to type normal, instead of all caps….which made some think I was yelling…while all along it was because of my disability….

Thank you RB for that little request made a reality!….Now on to figure out how to find all the old topics I was watching….phhhbbbt

At least there was a silver lining in that cloud for the day!!
