Naming Photos April 24, 2007 Does anyone have mental blocks when it comes to putting a title on a photo?I thought i would be capable of this simple task, but i guess not. Any tips out there?Tara « First Entry How do i say "Thanks" to someo… » Journal Comments Craig Watson almost 10 years ago Thinking and thinking and thinking… …then thinking again…. oh damnit… I think of any great tips…. just look across the site and I guess it will all fall into place… Good luck… PS if you type “naming_photos” with the underscore between each word, they will appear jaust as you want them… give it a try…. there is a entry somewhere on the site that gives a few other tips… I have buried it somewhere in my “favourites” and if you go hunting in there, you might find it! Craig Shillington almost 10 years ago Hehehe Sometimes I have those mental blocks too …. Often times I will title my photos with a backward spelt word (Ralos …. instead of Solar for eg. ) I also link a lot of my photos with songs I listen to that have some sort of emotional meaning for me, so a lot of my photos are actually song titles :) Other times I will think of what the photo feels for me and run the feeling (Fire in the Sky) through google with something like Gaelic or Greek Meaning and see what titles I can come up with that way. :) georgiegirl almost 10 years ago Webgrrl in one of her many brilliant ideas has a page for this purpose…
TitleTank
The great thing though, with our cool bubbly world is that we can edit and update our files any time!
I just make stuff up for names or just put whatever comes in my head first… not always brilliant, but better than untitled! Usually the better ones come after I’ve uploaded an image then logged out of the Bubble! Tara Louise almost 10 years ago Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. Im going to look now and see what i can find!!
