Niagara River Gazebo

Artist's Description

This is a photo of a gazebo located in Queen’s Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The park is located at the mouth of the Niagara River as it flows into Lake Ontario. In the background you can see Fort Niagara, which was built in 1726, in Youngstown, N.Y. To the left of the gazbo ( past the edge of the photo) , on a clear day you can see the Toronto Skyline

This gazebo was built for the Stephen King movie “The Dead Zone” starring Christopher Walkin. When the movie was finished they donated it to the town

ps I downloaded this photo a few days ago but after looking at it I thought it missed something. I have spent probably 4 hours in the last two days with my camera on the tripod waiting for a boat or two to go by but whenever a boat sailed past it was near Fort Niagara. It is but a speck on the photo. The town was also full of tourists so it was hard to get a shot without people all around. Hopefully this is a bit better as I changed the angle a bit
