Nature's Ornamental Garden.
The sun broke through this afternoon, so it was off to the moors and waterfalls again, we have had plenty of rain :-)
I’ve been to Thomason Foss many times, and I’ve often seen the heron, but the heron has also seen me and scarpered. This time I was allowed to share a few minutes with him in my sights, all but at a distance. He was busy watching the salmon trying to jump the waterfall, he still had one eye on me. I wouldn’t normally have taken the waterfall shot from here, yet I was pleased with the results.. I had captured nature’s own ornamental garden.
Look at it large, I think it’s worth it :-)
Thomason Foss is in the North York Moors National Park.

First I saw the waterfall, then read your description, THEN saw the heron – a fun progression! You “drew me in,” my friend. A lovely shot!
