Wonderful use of lighting in this very fine Mycena shot!!!
Great use of depth of field creating a lovely bokeh and an exceptionally good focus that giving us such clarity of detail.
The colours are nice forest hues and the silky fine spider web is a lovely touch although for a more serious botanical study, their removal may be in order.
I feel your composition is too open and that a tighter composition would add more impact and show this little colony off much better.
I really like your angle of shot as the perspective shows the fungi off very well.

Wow, what an incredible shot. In my (humble) opinion, I rather like the composition as it is too. Although it’s not conventional, it really makes this shot work. I think if it were cropped at the top, the mushrooms wouldn’t seem as tiny and delicate as they are…........but that’s just my opinion. :)

Gosh, that is a superb photograph. The lighting is just magical the way it glows through the back of the mushroom skirts, on the delicate spider web, and so soft on the green lichen. Beautiful depth of field.
