The Long and Winding Road
Taken just beyond the Mundi Mundi lookout 6 kilometres outside of Silverton, near Broken Hill, NSW. Further on is the Umberumberka Reservior. The views are vast across the Mundi Mundi plains, the road seemingly never ends as it wends it’s way through the outback.
Thank you for looking.

After Silverton there wasn’t a building in sight Ginny! It’s amazing to find totally uninhabited wild open spaces isn’t it! Thanks for your comments :D

It seems like a long road to nowhere…..devoid of life…but I am sure it has its own magic, and its own ecosytems…... just a shame it’s too hot to get out there and explore! This image really captures the vastness of the australian outback!
Tainia Finlay replied
Thanks inAWE, it does look devoid of life! The colours were amazing and i imagine there were lots of lizards & snakes lurking too :D

Hi there, Irene wanted to know who painted the lines…it was my brother on the Broken Hill City Council. Mundi Mundi is the flatest piece of earth on the planet… with unusual lights and sightings being seen out there more than anywhere else on earth…wierd huh! NIce shot too… :))
Tainia Finlay replied
WOW Peaceful warrior, thank you so much for your input & comments. They are very much appreciated. I understand having been there what a gruelling task it must have been for your brother! It is a remarkable place indeed :D
