Off Albany

Taken on a deep sea fishing extravaganza off the coast at Albany, WA. There is a light house built decades ago on the Island which would have mean’t hard work at the time I’m sure. It was a rough day out there which I loved, here the seas were less choppy sheltered by the Island.

Catch of the day was a 20 Kilo King fish (by me) who nearly fell off the other side of the boat when it emerged with help from the skipper. The skipper also won the catch as I was heading up to Perth the same day.

That deep blue of the sea is both beautiful and so inviting, makes me want to be there when I see Autumn advancing outside at the moment,

Thanks Trudi, it was an experience also the skipper was quite a catch lol, not mine though, but I did get a photo of him & I holding up the giant fish :D

So beautiful down there!! I have photos of this island too, only I took them from the relative safety of the beach (and at the Blow hole … if you call that safe!!) ;)

Hi Tai, West country was misty and cool, but found the other half and we had relaxing time doing not much and eating too much!!!! left the camera at home, mistake, would have taken a cool shot of an ozzie in Glastonbury blowing the didge!!!! xxx
