Mini Moo

Mini Moo

My neighbour told me she had seen a cow with little legs but didn’t tell me where. Driving home last week I saw it – IT could only be this same little cow.

This morning I went off to capture it and whilst there the owner came up to me. This little cow has a big story ….. the previous owners in QLD were going to put her to sleep as she had gone past her use as a breeder. She is a Black Angus Mini Micro. Our friend paid $200 for her & brought her home.

On the trip home a couple overtook him and lost their lives in a head on smash. He braked hard and Mini Moo fell sustaining injuries to her shoulder. The vet was called and tended to her, saying she was 13 years old, not 5 yrs as the previous owners had said, also her feet were in a bad way due to lack of care. The kind new owner & his wife can do anything with her, she is tame and very gorgeous sharing her paddock with two rescued curly haired goats & a mini horse. What a marvelous couple to give her such a loving home!
