Standing Alone - Looking Through

A peep into the church with no name, looking through to where once was a door. One of a series of the church.

Thank you for looking.

It’s utterly fascinating. Stripped of all it’s stained glass and interior fittings and you have to wonder whether that was done legally or not. What a story there must be here! Great to see and you have captured wonderful lighting inside there. Hugs, Peter

Thank you Peter! I am hoping to find some history of the place. I wonder why they built this so far away from anywhere? ... much like they put graveyards far away from villages around here … in the days of no transport what a hike to take visit a loved one & take flowers? Hugs, Tai x

I think the answer to that Tainia lies back in the past – we need to know what the population of the area was and whether this was built for white settlers or for the indigenous locals. There would have to be Parish records in existence somewhere – it’s a case of finding them I guess! I am sure there is a wonderful tale to be told! Hugs, Peter

Fantastic image Tai. Such a sense of mystery through that window. It makes you want to know more about its history. Through the window shots are always intriguing and you have captured that feeling wonderfully x
