If anything I think I prefer this to the first one but both a great captures. What a thing to be confronted with though!! Hugs, peter

  • Tainia Finlay replied

I had problems with this one Peter he had one red eye! I am no good at fixing things so chose the other … I much prefer this too, you can imagine my shock seeing this when half asleep & they are big creatures, with those eyes … when I calmed down I felt sure it was an owl till I googled it! Your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated Peter! Hugs, Tai x

he looks so innocent doesnt he? But what a skillfull hunter. Would hate to be a big moth moving past, he would munch me right up! Is that a band on his right (our left) leg, just before his feathers?

  • Tainia Finlay replied

Thanks Steve for your comments, I don’t think it’s a band? I have enlarged it as much as I can here to look but can’t be certain? Would they, and who would band these?

What a great expression you’ve captured! There’s been a tawny owl (or two) hooting outside all week up here in Tintagel! Probably not the same species though.

  • Tainia Finlay replied

Many thanks Avalon, say hello to Tintagel for me!
