This beautiful Mucha inspired piece is filled with romantic sentiment and the beauty of the female form in the graceful pose. The lights in her eyes are delicate white stars to enhance the feeling of deep love and romance.

Gorgeous self portrait. I like the tanned skin in this one and the contrast of the deep red, velvet roses. The gold looks great in this. It’s perfect.
I get really tanned in the summer from working outside…makes for really good skin tones to paint lol. Thank you so much Frannie for the appreciation. It was wonderful to get a chance to paint in this style again. There will be two more as I was commissioned for two more pieces of myself in this style
