I’m going through a really emotional time. Lots of memories caving in on me and I’m trying to use that depth of emotion and pour it into my work to help me. Someone once begged me “don’t forget me” and those words haunted my soul for more than 25 yrs…..and it still puts an ache in my heart that is gripping.
In this painting I put that aching love between these two subjects. Both having a heart and a love for one another and never, never wanting to be forgotten. Some things in life can never be forgotten for they are simply far too precious.
