Goodness me Hidemi you are so very kind and hearing you say that makes my skin tingle. I love Her and I feel Her with me just as She is with all those who love Her but that dream connected me to Her in a deep and most profound way. I would never ever have thought such a thing but in my dream it was as though I could not avoid it which is why I felt resigned to the fact.

I would be more than honoured and profoundly moved to see you use an image of me to paint the Holy Mother…sends more chills up my spine :O)

Wow, thank you for such a heart felt comment. I live almost a recluse these days apart from my wonderful part time job working with racehorses for the very reasons you mentioned. I simply can no longer stomach the rampant selfishness and materialism of the world, it turns my stomach where as I’m normally a very strong person.

And this painting is just another example of that something special that seems to happen when I paint those in heaven that I love so much. It just happens, it’s not through any intent of mine but there is something so vastly different that happens when I paint spiritual and religious works. It even makes me step back in awe because until I’ve finished the piece I am unaware of the blessing that seems to take place.

I am deeply moved that you can ‘feel’ this painting, that means the absolute world to me. May She watch over you and love you dear friend

I actually did two separate ones. I sent the sketch to a very special friend of mine who loves the Holy Mother even more than I do. He will be so stunned when he received his little gift.

And then I was so taken with the sketch I did that I decided to paint it. Funny thing is, I was disappointed as the next sketch wasn’t as good but when I painted it, wow, that something special happened again….takes my breath away it does.

Hi darling lady. I must say that these things happen all on their own and I simply become the vessel for paintings like this. I have no way to explain that something very special that happens when I paint religious works. There’s no doubt that the love I have for my subjects is used to the fullest lol.

Oh my goodness, hello my friend! Sooooo good to hear from you again and thank you so very much for stopping by to view my work.

I painted a commission of the Suffering Christ recently and was inspired to paint the background almost identical to what you see in this painting. I fell in love so much with the technique I used that I wanted to do something again only this time with a more traditional painting of Our Lady.

I am working hard on my style and techniques so that I can be good at what I do and proud of what I create.
