Hi Les!! Thank you dear friend. I told ya I would listen to what you said. I moved the tree because I didn’t like it’s placement in the original and think that it’s in a nice position in the overall composition.

I was blessed in that the background was also simple in this shot so I kept it as I really loved the tones in the ground, so very Australian. I also used impasto for the foreground but you can’t see it but the impasto makes for a lovely textured ground.
