Thank you Tahnja. I like busy works, to me it draws your eyes not just on the central part of the piece but all over…less amount of negative space is like home to me. :) You know, I used to have such issues with hands…

Thanks so much Anita. Makes me feel good to draw her…over and over again. ;) Kind of like Lynn sk…but Stevie was my first Muse and it is a shame I left her like I did. (I was in a bit of a panic earlier when i couldn’t find my inks…they were hiding behind some canvas.)
My hand cramped on this one I can tell you! Especially on the hair.

Hugs…I think we’ve all had issues with hands LOL…my daughter broke the mold on that one though, she loves them and draws them better than me!!! I must drag some of her work away from her and share it lol

Awesome news! I’m VERY excited to be the new model….yeah my new avatar! Thank you for noticing hunny…I took some more shots yesterday while it was VERY hot here and I really enjoyed myself. I have been studying more works such as Renoir….another great love of mine and I was trying some of his female portrait ideas which is why you have the avatar with me plaiting my hair from a famous Renoir painting hehehehe…...I might upload those, dunno…they are more for future paintings

I saw those you uploaded…always interesting to see the inspiration for future paintings…no matter how far in the near future they are. :) I did finish my piece of you…and I saw 2-3 others in thr group have as well. Exciting to see what others come up with…Oh and you can submit self portraits as well. :)

Fantastic! I love that you kept her and her hair colorless contrasting with all the color around her. Also, the detail on her curly hair is fantastic. I definately think your work is taking on a new powerful dimension my friend! Congrats on the Feature!

Thanks Tammy. I actually just coloured the hair (digitally, thanks be to computers for that) just to see how it looked, didn’t want to do the original just in case I din’t like it. May upload the coloured just for kicks. I agree…the work now is not so forced I feel…
