Tragic Rabbit

This is Tragic Rabbit…an initial design for a series I have been wanting to do for some time.

I have the colours right…but the next go around will be black and white line art coloured digitally.

She is not much of an early riser…but 7 am it is. With a glass of absinthe always, with cherries. They taste like candy.

Inspired by the simple phrase in Stan Rice’s poem “Tragic Rabbit”, which has always stuck with me over the years. This has nothing to do with the poem itself…

    Thanks you so much Tammy. I have a few more pieces in mind. I may work on the next one today…and they are small enough to get done in half the time then my other pieces. :)

    Ohhhhhhhhh WOW- I absolutely love her !! She’s adorable Lynette and the black and white background shows her off beautifully- that clock is sooooo cute.

    Yes! I am happy with her. I may have got a wee bit diverted…but I must must must do more Tragic. I need to get off here and do more. I love that clock, it was actually a mask of some sort but who needs a mask when one looks as fab as that! lol

    Thanks Ming…I love to do hair…as time consuming as it is I love to do it. She’s a girl of everyday Halloween…and a bit wretched looking. lol

    Thanks so much hon! I went through ALL of Anita’s new series and was inspired to get off my bum and get my ideas onto paper. I drew out about 8 eyes to get that one. Drew up another today…finishing it up tomorrow.

    Thanks Carlos. I was going off memory with the poem…obviously I got the colours off a bit but it is a wonderful poem, always one I remeber and go back to.
