Alice and the Cheshire Cat
Alice and the Cheshire Cat.
I had this somewhat sketched out a few weeks ago. The girl only. I did not know where I was going with it…but I did know I wanted something involving Alice in Wonderland. But when the group Shanime, inspired by anime came up the the challenge Alphabet Soup it gave me the idea for what this piece has become.
Within the piece are the words: “We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”

Thanks hon! I had issues with putting each letter randomly about, so i scattered each word… Glad you like. I am very happy for this challenge or this piece wouldn’t be.

Nice color work! I like all the patterns going on~ I found mad! Her heels are rock’in too! Nice, Lynette!

Those colours drove me mad! ha ha ;) But I am happy with how they came out. If you found one “mad” the other one looks about the same… I have a thing for platforms…I have so many ref photos of them it is a theme you will see more of. Thanks Vicki.

Amazing- I LOVE this take on Alice (you know I’m a huge fan). The Cheshire Cat is tooooooo adorable and Alice has just the measure of inocence and trippy dippy cool. Would love to see a series with her. I keep getting diverted from my Alice works just now, must get back to them soon. xxxxxx

I do, I do…I was inspired by your tree and mushrooms… I am glad you like the Cat, he was such fun to draw…with his scruffy hair. And as for Alice…I think she kind of looks like my sister, but no one else sees it…ha ha Hmmm a series of Alice, it is a thought…:)
I know what you mean…I keep getting distracted from my new painting…ce la vie. So Glad you like this Anita.

As much as I enjoy drawing and creating, I look at the stuff like this and know I have to bring it up some knotches. Really excellent work!
