Seasons

Come in the spring
Where my love lies asleeping
Where the flowers are blooming
When the sky’s all aflame
Wait by the stream
Till the daytime is dying
For when she awakens
She’ll dance in your dreams

Come in the day
When the sun rises slowly
In a place that is precious
Where this child is a queen
Stay by the hills
Where she walks in her beauty
There none that compares
To her sweetness and peace

When summer awakes
She’s in fullness of beauty
Like a flower in blooming
Like a rose undefiled
Softly she walks
As she lives out her glory
None can compare
To her beauty and grace

Come in the autumn
When the world is all dying
Though she still lives untouched
By the wrinkles of time
She slips by the trees
In their colors of sorrow
For all the world knows
That soon they’ll be gone

Come in the fall
When my love lies there dying
Where sorrow abounds
And all joy fades away
Stay through the night
As the whole world crying
Whispers goodbye
To beauty and grace

But come here in spring
When all joy is awaking
True love has returned
Now she’s here by my side
The night now is gone
The world is in freedom
And me and my love
Live there close for all time
(Oh . . .)

Yes, come in the spring
Where my love lies asleeping
Where all flowers are waking
When the sky is on fire
Oh, wait by the stream
Till the daytime is dying
For when she awakens
She’ll dance in your dreams

Yes when she awakes
She’ll dance in your dreams

Oh, I can see her in my mind’s eye, walking through the woods in fall, a shadowy shape among the trees, and then in spring, with flowers in her hair . . . Wonderful imagery! It’s much better than you gave it credit for. = )

Oh I don’t know, thank you anyways, though.
