I’m pleased you like this one .you know I really like the theme of this painting .. but it’s the way that I’ve painted it that’s making me think again
and I really need to go over all those black lines and smarten it up
a littler bit. I know I said that I wouldn’t put unfinished ones in here but I can’t help it once I start looking ..so will probably have to redo this one a bit..it looks a bit drab to me..and I so wanted it to be right.

well it’s not really amazing at all and I’m so sorry
I really have to do something to this painting and fix it..it’s not right
it’s sad that I even put it in here at all..

I knew it wasn’t finished..but I felt excited to show it off and because I was so happy with the theme of it and t my construction and the composition.
.. now that I’ve put it here ,I see that it needs some more work in my painting area and the colours should be a lot richer I think.

Thanks to all the dear and kind people in here who said it’s a good one..but it’s not finished I can see that now and that’s probably why I never put a price on it when I uploaded it.

so much appreciated kreesor..and it’s not to say I’m right because some people seem to like the painting as it is now ..so it’s a dilemma for me now on that difference of opinion..?

does it look like it needs all the colours to change to you ..?
because it does to me, maybe this is just another underpainting..like in some of my other work..sometimes It’s hard to tell, even for me for me whether a painting is finished and what to do next.sometimes a painting has lots and lots of layers.. and sometimes I ask..which one do I stop at.. .hha!!

well You know ,some paintings I just feel so sure about like your mermaid one and the pear tree and lady in a cave
..I was so sure about them being good ones.. so sure..hha!

others.. I just look at them and see that they need more of this or more of that or the other and that they look unfinished etc. It’s strange I know.. but with me.. I know instantly if I’ve done a really good one because the energy just oozes out …well a good one to me that is ! I didn’t think that this was such a painting
but because this one is getting such a good reception
..then maybe it doesn’t matter if it’s not quite the way I want it to be.
maybe I should enjoy it the way it is and not do anymore to it..with me there is always the problem of overworking anyway..so OK I’ll leave it alone.
.I’ll put a price on it today.

In this painting I really do love the theme..almost like an angel and a woman..hhah!! and I did this before we even talked about all of that..hha! Oh my god..I’m a step ahead..hha!!
this is of a man and woman in a garden or forest picking flowers under the moonlight.

I do like the people in it and the forest ..but I sure wanted to paint it differently…I felt it wasn’t painted properly.

hhha!!..that’s so funny..well you would have loved out 9 day camping trip to eldorado ..it was amazing…but full on roughing it.
I must admit I couldn’t do that now..it was when I was in my 30’s and I was f fit and healthy then ..lol
and I’m in my 50’s now. ..and would need your stove, sink, beds and bathroom to camp these days.
