it used to be a church and they revamped it into a resturant/pub..a lovely place and I will take some pics the next time I’m there.

It’s strange you know..but Inside I have a lot of joy to find and share.. sometimes I am a well of overflowing happiness

but i the Joy is pretty deepdown… and it takes a lot for me to bring it to the surface..hha!!
I come across as a slightly bombastic loud mothed deep voiced sad faced grumpy wretch …..so it’s good to know that my paintings can show a glimpse of my inner beauty ..hhha!!

this one I feel certain is influenced by my mothers side of the family who were all middle eastern..they were lebanese..and when we were growing up we were lucky enough to have expereinced that wonderful middle eastern hospitality and craziness too..hha!!...some lebanese runs in my blood and it comes out in a few of my paintings.
some kind of romantisiced parts of that culture.. that I can’t help but try to envision and paint what’s in my head..hha!

yes the old phonecians..the ancient traders and they bartered a lot..
I told my youngest son that that’s why he barters everything he owns..it’s in his blood !..although he wouldn’t have made a great trader at all..he sells off all his stuff for less that he purchased it for..hhhhhhaaaa!!!

yes they’re a funny mob of people..my muns family just crack us up with their strange ways..but they are so so funny and hospitable when it comes to FOOD..food being the almighty thing next to GOD..hhhha!!!!!
