What I proclaim are my wishes
What I do is who I am
Words in haste,
a negligence’ waste
Scribes of wisdom
profess to glean
in shrouded writs unknowing,
I am what I do
One torch passes
One soul saved
I give in to the lesser self
to succumb to the greater good in me
henceforth to journey far far away
having known
I am what I do
I of bitter device and accusing fingers
falsely perceive righteousness lost
No acumen, only caustic roses
now blackened by bitter distention
Past prevails, truth discernible
I’ve only a love for all
as one soul knowing
I am what I do
I am what I do
Ok gang truth be told….a few poems I’ve written as of late in anger as well as
like-temperament have been aimed at a woman, a friend I have known for years and have since been having some issues with. I of course would never crush her or anyone out of existence—especially since she’s a lawyer and would no doubt bend me over the proverbial judicial system and f* me running lol…..
We chat regularly on MSN and she is the most beautiful, intelligent, funny and fun woman I have ever known. Why we have been having these fall outs is beyond both of us, but I guess it’s simply the natural fluctuating establishment of who is who within the relationship.
I love the lady to death, which is obvious by the gamut of emotions I’ve been projecting in such master-shit-pieces the likes of which I’ve been putting out there.
This one is a simple little reprieve for my brain which will hopefully help flush the caca from my mind allowing me to find myself, her and us again…

Dude… First let me say that I love the piece and it speaks volumes emotionally. As for the relationship… Just do your thing and let if flow. The opportunity to love is the gift. When the time is right the stars will align. Who ever knows when or where that will be, but pay attention.

I always speak to God both inwardly and outwardly and he always answers – Sometimes what I was hoping for and other times what he was hoping I was hoping for, but what is always best for me in the end.

ur so welcome…..My persoanl philosophy has come down to this….I have come to realize that the “artiust” is a very emotional being, we see, absorb and feel the things that are usually overlooked by others, without the emotions we feel, where would our art take us? therefore I let happen what will be and paint the rest, you have the blessing of language and can speak it, write it, and you do it so well…I wish you the best…..Peace to you my friend …

Art heals the heart and this is a perfect example, great words…..

We artists pour our souls out on the page in words and images. We expose ourselves for all the world to see. Sometimes it’s lovely, oftentimes it’s ugly. But it is us in our purest form. Great writing. I hope you sent this to her.
Symmetry44 in reply to Helen Bascom KMA’s comment, 4 months ago
Indeed I did Helen.
Often times however as I write looking to unearth the truth in and of others, I find myself finding myself and my own truth and the need to live that which I have bestowed.
I can merely open the door of opportunity for those involved. Who opts to walk through that door remains to be seen, for indeed we all seemingly have our own “self-perceived truths.”

am learning through your words Sym…. it’s all good – and we’re all human – we only get to bein perfect when we get to our next stop – Right? keep pushing forward and keep learning! It’s all good
Symmetry44 in reply to Hala E’s comment, 4 months ago
Life is a process Hala, the same as is learning and the steps to wisdom.
Good, bad and indifference are all components to ultimate wisdom.
We trudge through each to get to the one…..
