(Prelude)
“And that we know of her chronicle
Are we nonetheless the mystery within her
She the impetus—We the silhouette
Mere hindrances to her glaring veneer”
Year upon year
And throughout time do we beseech,
Unknowing of our part
We the conundrum
Still to fathom
Her the greater unknown
To chance what is
In confines of one mind
Thus to hearken
That even the stars must die
She ne’er bequeathed
Drifts asunder o’er suspect veils
In reprise of echoes
Of grander fleeing echelon
She transcendent—We the stigma
She inscrutable and we of such clarity
Reciprocators of mirrors which do reflect
We the myopia—She the myriad
Sun and Moon, Heaven and Earth
We Nostalgia - She Maharishi We the cordon
Subversive to all perdition,
The pinnacle of confluence to creation’s duality
Doth sustain all what bares her own
She the confine -
In all do subsist
No more the less
Together apart
She the mount—We the ascension
She the Universe, We the Mystique
Not sure if this one’s any good or just sucks, but here goes nuttin!
The universe and our place within it. The greatest mystery ever known and sought for remains only just by all which we are denied by her greater mystery.
While I myself struggle with my place in every given circumstance, so too struggle all and the more amid the whole of creation.
Why are we here, and to what seemingly fleeting end? That no man, woman or child is or has been privy to this infernal mystery leads one to question all the more.
For whatever reason I or anyone is able to deduce even the simplest of equations leads me to believe there has to be a creator of greater capability at the foot of it all, for the creator must be greater than that which gets created.
Yet still here I inquire, day after day, year after year, having come no closer to its mystery than the day I was born—and still I must inquire…....

Superb writing. I don’t want to be a stigma. But I suppose it’s better than being a stigmata, or a sty. I really like this.

Very nice piece Steve and masterfully written. As for the question I have my own version of an answer. QP!!! Have you seen the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know”? Have a look and lets discuss it. Peace…

This is a most beautiful and remarkable composition Steve. Free flowing and yet compelling, the very sign of great talent. I like so much the she-we dialogue:
She, the poetry—we, the philosophy (behind the poetry).

Hey my friend just now saw your comment. Thank you very much for the great encouraging words. They always seem to have a greater meaning when they come from someone who is profusely intelligent, and you are that.
