I like the fact that aside from the technical merits of this image, it is quite emotive and evocative. Viewers react to an image like this either with apprehension, fear, caution or any other feeling that comes up. I feel you captured a beautiful scene, with perfect colors, exposure and details and you brought a sense of a real old and ancient place to life.
