It’s the processing on these lovely rural countryside images that just never ceases to amaze me.

You manage to give them a real kick and almost seem to bring the photo to life in a 3D kind of way. This shot just typifies the English countryside for me and they are a lovely couple of bridges. They are mirrored perfectly by the trees and the detail of textures in the banks are great.

I particularly like the slope of the path in the top right of the picture and the collection of stones and pebbles in the foreground.

  • SylviaHardy replied

I am really pleased you like it Stuart! Thank you!

I found it hard to get both bridges together without somebody faffing about in my view! Nice shot

  • SylviaHardy replied

Thank you Steve! It is hard to avoid people and cars as well. Like that cream one on the left? But it makes it quite interesting to make a feature of Wycoller including people in it too. I have got some where they were scattered all around near the little stream but I haven’t done anything with it to upload it. But people can be quite photogenic too like Lost for instance. People were heaving at the windfarm. Can’t think of the place right now but somewhere in Lancashire somewhere near Bury? And I just asked if the chap with the dog would mind if I could take his photograph and there it is?

I went early this year (Feb) and there was a duck race in the stream!

  • SylviaHardy replied

I hope you’ve taken some photographs, because I really can’t imagine what that involves? You have to upload some and let us have a look :-D
