That tree was my favorite, it always looked amazing just aproaching the bend. And now it is gone! Something is missing every time we travel on this road.

Geez, Sylvia, do you think a big lorry hit it? Maybe a bad windstorm knocked a big piece off and they had to cut it down. Too bad, it was a beautiful big old tree. Beautiful photograph too; looks like a very pastoral scene. Well done! Cheers! Chris

But there have been quite a few trees cut down that I have photographed around there which were not really on the road. Peter said, they could have been deseased? Who knows?
