!Been to Tatton park today 24/09/2009 and wanted to see the deer and try to photograph some?

Beautiful capture! They look like they know you are there, but not exactly where just yet lol. I particularly enjoy the expression on the young fellow to the left…. the Gorgeous old Tree in the background… and the changing textures and lighting of the undergrowth… it looks touched with silver and gold in the foreground. Lovely work!

Great series, Sylivia – I spent many a happy hour as a kid with my mates riding our bikes around Tatton.

It was alright!! ;) no seriously I did – Try and get to Dunham Park if you can – loads of deer there too (and another of my old haunts :) )

Your recomendation is very much appreciated Paul, thank you. A couple sugested Dunham Park while I was taking some photographs of the deer. It could be on our next day trip. They just charge so much for the entry to the park there.

If you park on School Lane off the B5160 (from the main A56) its free and right opposite an entrance.
