very nice sword. I just finished an oil pastel myself. I received a small set as a gift and I was not too familiar with them, After I laid the colors down I used a little turpentine with a brush and blended it very loose. I will post it later after I take a picture of it.
Thank you for the tip Marita.I must try that sometime.Look forward to seeing your pastel

hi Peter this subject really suits your style so much. looks fabulous.re the turps I was shown to use a rag to wipe the layers in ,we used Litho Paper[shiny side] it takes wetting quite well although I have 25 year old charcoal drawings are a bit fragile now. I haven’t had time to do any for years even though it’s not long since I bought a new packet.
Thank you for your kind feedback ginnymac. It is a long time since i used charcoal.I must have another go,even though i am very messy with it .Re the turps i will have to wear a mask as it gets on my chest….diddumms bless him…. cough cough
