I think you might be right, Ujean. This might be another one of those gags understood only by those who were subjected to American culture very early on…or maybe whose first language is English. No one ever actually did it. It was more along the lines of a cultural tale that probably goes all the way back to the mid-1800’s (...when I was just a kid. Hahaha. You’d have to read my Zazzle “About” to understand what I’m referring to, here.)
