Early Morning Light, Teton Range

Early morning fog and sunlight on the Teton Range, captured from Signal Mountain at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. I headed up the mountain to catch the sunrise to the east. A few minutes later I turned around and walked a few hundred feet further up the mountain and caught this amazing view to the west with the sun hitting the range and fog over the lake below. I had to check my pulse to make sure I was actually seeing this truly an awe-inspiring sight. Yet another gift of nature from God for all to behold…

Gear/Settings : Nikon D300 – Nikkor 12-24 f2.8 ED lens – Circular Polarizer & Grad. ND Filter – Manfrotto Tripod and Ballhead with cable release.

Settings: Manual Mode : 14mm – f16 at 1/4 second, ISO 100
