Zion Canyon Waterfall

A backlit waterfall in the very scenic Emerald Pools area of Zion National Park in Utah, This image was captured while hiking in April of 2008 and a park ranger informed me that the falls were flowing as heavily as he had seen in many years. This is surely an area in Zion not be missed, especially in early spring.

I knew this was a National Park image immediately. Very good work. The property where I live is connected to the Foothills Parkway just entering into the Smoky Mountains National Park area. Also, family gave up land to make the Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee. Fortunate also, and it has inspired me also in my photography.
