Gorgeous! We were there in February last year and found it REALLY hard to photograph this valley. Very well done!!!!

Thanks Portia…I have been here many times and it’s always been hit or miss and after a pretty long car ride it can be very disappointing. The best times to find good weather are early morning or very late afternoon. It was actually totally fogged in when we arrived this time, but the clouds slowly disappated after waiting for almost 2 hours…worth the wait as this was really more than I hoped to capture.

Thanks Clark…with all the rain & fog you really have to get lucky up here for sure….I waited 2 hours for this shot in rain & fog and miraculously it cleared at sunset. My wife wasn’t too happy but I was !!!
