Welcome to my RedBubble Page
A little bit about the photographer: I am mid-twenty-something-ish, ex-Minnesotan who has only ever said “you betcha” in jest, currently residing in Oakland, CA just down the street from what is fondly know by locals as the “Gunshot Hospital” (for good reason) and am wildly passionate/obsessed with anything relating to photography.
My heritage tells me I’m one quarter Polish but my brain says it’s about 200%. I forget things mid-sentence and make a list for everything under the sun. But – I know how to take a joke because 90% of them are about me anyway. Thank god I’m not blond too.
About my work:
I love photography. That’s all there is to it. I’ve been interested in it since I was a kid but didn’t make a serious effort at it until a few years ago. Now, I’m constantly learning and teaching myself new things to grow as a photographer.
I am hopelessly in love with nature photography. Or just nature in general. Can’t get enough of it. But as I’ve progressed as a photographer, I’ve discovered an interest in other areas as well. I will shoot anything and everything that captures my interest whether it be nature, people, architecture, animals – whatever. Everything is game.
Photography. I just love it. Did I say that enough?
See my website www.vangeestphotography.com for more of my work or email sarah@vangeestphotography with any questions.
