A close up view of the beautiful texture and patterns of an old log. I came across this log while visiting a public garden. I had taken many photos of beautiful flowers and this caught my eye when we were leaving. I’m sure some of the ladies in our group thought it was a little strange that I thought this was worthy of a photo,but I really liked the uniqueness of it.

    Thanks. When I saw this old log at a public garden, I also thought it was petrified wood. It does have that look to it.

    Thanks for your comment. This old log caught my eye due to its color and texture. It really did look like an abstract that an artist had painted, but Nature is the best artist!
