Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my Red Bubble friends, have a special time with your family and friends.

I have not been very active of late, busy doing other stuff and preparing for Christmas.
We usually have a big day catching up with the family, this year we have 24 family and extended family coming for dinner, they all bring contributions for the table, so not a huge cooking day for me.

My 5 year grandson is coming this morning for a day with Nanny and Poppa and he is going to help set up all the tables ready for tomorrow and decorate. In our small retirement village we have a community room ideal for a big group, so that is where we will be Christmas night.

I am artist in residence at Tea and Roses in Nedlands till the end of January, they have my work on display till then and I will next be there on the 2nd during the afternoon. Also we are doing a summer school at Albany early in January. So 2009 is kicking off with a busy start.

Last Christmas was very hot 35c. This week we are having beautiful mild weather with strong sea breezes in the afternoons, which is keeping the temperatures down, 28c expected tomorrow – lovely.

Take care everyone, especially on the roads, but most of all have a happy time.
