Manipulated Photography. Manipulated in the Gimp program.
I used three different photographs to get this frame. The first two were taken at Leigh woods near my home of my daughter. I took shots of her in the same position at 380 degrees. (She was so brilliant. Had to hold the position for 15 minutes and never complained once!) The last shot is of an old mirror I had in the house.
Firstly I used a Gaussian Blur effect on the original photo I was going to use. I then reversed one of the Leigh woods shots and incorporated it in the Mirror frame and then added that to the original picture. Placing back in the Picture of my daughter sat in front of the mirror to finish it off. Finally I used lighting effects to get a slightly ethereal feel to the piece.
Inspired by Alice through the looking Glass.
