The mother’s haunted eyes and close embrace of the little girl give this a very solemn feel, while the little girl is concerned with little girl concerns. The baby is dreaming blissfully, unaware of the struggles of life. A stuuning portrait of contrasts.

The strength of this comes from your triangular construction and the bold use of black around the subjects. The look of detatchment and innocence on the faces of the kids contrasts so beautifully with the mother`s intense protective aura. She would, without a second`s thought, rush into a burning building to save them. Susi, this is a masterpiece and I`m so glad you`re here with us. This is where your stuff will get the appreciation it deserves!!
