Mmmmmmm Wonderfully composed!!! The slight sepia is gorgeous for this too!! Wow, those reflections really add so much to the photo too!! I found a similar tree (and got reflection shots too :) ) Only my tree has growth on it. This seems so foreboding!! I love it!!

I stumbled upon this tree by “accident” when I was a bit early to pick someone up from the airport and went for a drive. I think I must be mad because I “visit” my tree regularly, in different seasons and lighting. I just love it too Craig. Thanks.

Oh, if you think you are mad for doing that … then I am JUST as mad. ;) I have about 6 sets of trees I visit from time to time too ;) And about 100 that I want to visit at some stage ;)

I have tried so hard to find good Lighthouses!! I got one (not posted in RB .. .it’s in Flickr though) but it’s terribly far away in the view. And castles …. why couldn’t Australia be a lot older so we could have 500 year old castles!! ;) LOL

This tree is just amazing. My first thought was ‘Dragon tree’. it feels all dragon-ish to me. old and convoluted and beautiful.

Absolutely stunning.. I agree with mren and Manta – it’s like a scene picked straight from a Tim Burton film. You can just imagine those twisted ‘fingers’ coming to life!

This tree is a classic shot – everyone has read all sorts of things into it!
I see demonic connotations almost – pitchforks laying down :O)
But the surreality and the soft sepia tones have created a masterpiece of the tree of dreams.
I was going to write a poem – I’m not now – but I may write a story … soon when I have less demands and more headspace! :O)
    Chookas! XX♥XX
