Susan, this is a really beautiful portrait, the white pastel for the highlights is stunning, I must try this! This actually looks like Alicia Keys. Her eyes are gorgeus, very glassy and full of life:-)

Oh yes, I see what you mean! I never use fixative because I have noticed my work looks a little duller when I have tried it, so I either frame it quickly or cover it with tissue paper and put it my folder. That is a nuisance though, as it can get smudged very quickly:)

I am smiling that you struggle with ‘noses’! Ears are my downfall – and FEET! (God certainly did have some funny ideas when he designed us – LOL)
