Alice has just been told that there is no answer to the question “Why is a raven like a writing desk?”. Present , besdies Alice and the Mad Hatter, are the March Hare and the Dormouse, who is attempting to take a nap between cups of tea.

Hello, I have been drawing and writing since I could hold a pencil. I began as an old school printmaker, worked as a graphic designer, and then spent time in editorial illustration. Found in my Art Lab are Frankenstein marriages of flora and fauna, sweet and monstrous, people and animals, big and little – surrealism with a sense of humor.

(reminds me of paddington bear and the brown’s, too ;)

  • Thanks chels – thinking about your remark, I suppose the tea party has three bears elements as well.

Susan, I LOVE your photos!! Wondering if you would allow me to use a couple of them on my blog and link back directly to you. I’m about to do some training of small women business owners and we’re going to use a madhatter’s tea party theme. Since I’ve been “msmarchhare” on Skype for over 10 years, I’m going to use some images from Alice – and of the March Hare – in the training. Would you be willing to talk about this? I’d love to drive some attention to your artwork and help you make some sales. (I’ve been a photographer all my life…and a printmaker…and really appreciate your creativity here!!) Please mail me at Meri

  • Thanks, Mv coach. I sent you a bubblemail, I see you are new, so just look at the tabs on the “MYBubble” (your home) page
