Hello, I have been drawing and writing since I could hold a pencil. I began as an old school printmaker, worked as a graphic designer, and then spent time in editorial illustration. Found in my Art Lab are Frankenstein marriages of flora and fauna, sweet and monstrous, people and animals, big and little – surrealism with a sense of humor.

This wonderful design reminds me of a fantastic painting from the middle ages that I saw in a Milan museum… it was of a forest fire and all the animals fleeing from it. Many of them had human faces… must post it and send you the link…

  • I would love to see that. It sounds prescient.

I like to think the guy with the deer head and the deer with the guy head are about to accidentally run into eachother, their heads are going to become swapped, there will be a few awkward moments of embarrassment for both parties, and they’ll each blog about the incident when they get home.

  • Hmm, interesting. It’s sort ecology proselytizing, or complaining, on my part. I hadn’t seen the blogging connection.
