Dexter in the Park, he is blind (Diabetic) and is having so much fun, he does not know where he is going sometimes so I have to talk to him alot so he knows where I’m at otherwise he runs into things. Dexter is around 11 years old and the best dog in the world :) at least I think so :)))

Dexter is adorable. I’m sure he thinks the same of you. You two found each other for a reason and now you know…because you were made for each other. I found that in Cosmo and now I have found it again (how lucky I am) in Tully. He has hit my heart as hard as Cosmo did. So I definitely know what you mean. I say prayers for Dexter and hope he is happy and stays as healthy as possible for a long long time to come. :) Big hugz and treats from his Aunti Cheri…lol

  • Dexter is just fine as long as he gets his Insulin, know is’nt it wired that we can get so attached to a Pet, amazing. I gave them both a little cookie from Aunti, lol.

I have no doubt he is the best dog in the world; it’s all over his adorable face!
    It’s a wonderful portrait!

  • Thanks so much Aileen, Dexter never did anything wrong never chewed on anything and he just wants to be close to me.

Yep, definately the best dog in the world! Wonderful portrait of your handsome boy, he sure looks like he’s having a ball :)

  • He is having a ball but it is sad for me to watch him when there are other dogs in the park and he can’t find them to play with, glad you like him.

I just love your Dexter…and he is so lucky to have you, Susanne, so that he can carry on undaunted…!!

  • Thank you justlooking, but I think I am lucky to have Dexter:) had to get my German – English Dictionary out for that “undaunted” word, I have never heard that word before..lol…but now I have learned a new word. He is familiar with the park now so he is ok

Aww this is a wonderful photo of this cute dog :D I’m loving this and am happy that she is enjoying life!

  • He loves life, that is why he did not die last year when he was so so sick and was skin and bones and lost so much hair but when they found out what was wrong he recovered very quickly, Dexter is on 14 units of Insulin each day, 7 in the morning and 7 in the evening very much but he is doing great. I am glad you like my little baby :)

what a cutie pie. you’ve captured his playfullness and happiness. you would not even think looking at this photo that he has a disability. I bet his owners are thrilled with this one.

  • I am thrilled Pip, lol…Dexter trotts around the park like nothing is wrong, but it is sad for me to watch him when he can’t find the other dogs to play with and he wants to play so bad, glad you like him :)
